The photograph at the right was captured as he takes his 356th wicket, to overtake Dennis Lillee and seize the world record for most Test dismissals.

The third photograph reveals the bowling action that claimed 383 Test scalps - this time against the West Indies at Old Trafford, 3rd Test, 1980.
